MANILA, Philippines - The implementation of the Reproductive Health Law will continue in the absence of any restraining order from the Supreme Court (SC) in favor of petitioners seeking the nullification of the law.

In its en banc session on Tuesday, the high court did not issue a temporary restraining order (TRO) just yet and, instead, consolidated several petitions assailing the constitutionality of the RH Law.

As of January 22, 6 petitions had been filed with the high court by James Imbong, et al., Expedito Bugarin, Eduardo Olaguer and the Catholic Xybrspace Apostolate of the Philippines, Serve Life Cagayan De Oro City, et al., Task Force for Family and Life Visayas, Inc. and Valeriano Avila, and Alliance for the Family Foundation Philippines, Inc.
