The extent of damage after quake hits Pampanga

On Monday, April 22, a magnitude-6.1 earthquake hit parts of Luzon with the epicenter originating in Castillejos town, Zambales. However the hardest hit province was Pampanga, some 75 kilometers away. The reason, according to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology chief Renato Solidum Jr., is the soft sediment or lahar in the area.
