Cockatoos and marsupials confiscated in Pasay

Sulphur-crested Cockatoos by the hundreds are trapped in cages as they were brought to the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center- Biodiversity Management Bureau in Quezon City on Tuesday. The animals, which included several species of Cockatoos and marsupials like Sugar Gliders and Wallabies, were rescued from a wildlife trader in an early morning raid in Pasay. The animals were estimated to be worth P5 million-P10 million.
