Car enthusiasts must immediately drive their way to the World Trade Center for this year’s biggest car show in the country, the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).

Get a feel of amazing technology and see new and 'smarter' vehicles at the four-day event, (April 7 to April 10).

“We notice that cars nowadays are much smarter, some cars can actually almost park on their own with just a flick of a switch; some brands like the Ford Focus. Mercedes has new intelligent parking feature as well, driver aids. So we felt that we want to communicate to our buyers now that cars are not just pieces of mechanical equipment you can drive, they can help you think, they can help you drive better as well,” MIAS co-organizer Alvin Uy said.

Now on its 12th year, MIAS would surely not disappoint as it has brought a whole town of major automotive companies to showcase their best of the best.

Leading the hype are the 10 new car models launched in the event, namely Chevrolet Sail, Hyundai Veloster, Mercedes-Benz A-Class, Subaru Forester, Mitsubishi Montero Sport, Peugeot 308 GTi, Jaguar XE, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport, Kia Sportage, and SsangYong.

But the show has equally given the vintage cars an exposure, with the new collection of classic and custom cars featured in the show.

MIAS is also the one-stop shop for car owners who are looking to dress up their auto.

“From the engine to the suspension, to the body, and even to the interior, we practically have everything under one roof,” Uy said.

Guests will also witness outdoor stunts, including an exhibition from a Guinness World record holder for the world's fastest parking maneuvers.
