MANILA, Philippines -- Stars from Italian cinema and Philippine show business mingled at the opening of Moviemov, the second Italian International Film Festival on Tuesday night.
Present during the red-carpet event were actors Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby, Diether Ocampo, Gerald Anderson, Xian Lim and Ejay Falcon.
Maricar Reyes and Maja Salvador were also spotted at the event.
The occasion was special to Matteo Guidicelli, who's half-Filipino and half-Italian.
Star Magic artists were present to show support to Pascual, who's film "Dekada 70" will be shown during the festival.
"It's really an honor to have 'Dekada' be part of this film fest; it was a turning point for my career and it's a great movie about Filipino values, it shows our socio-economic problems," Pascual said.
The film "The Mistress" starring Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz is also part of the festival.
The film festival runs until December 9 at the Greenbelt 3 Cinemas in Makati City.
