MANILA – Alicia Keys is now in the Philippines for her one-night concert.

The Grammy Award-winning artist arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Sunday night via flight PR 353.

She is set to stage her concert titled "Set The World On Fire" at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Monday.

Visiting the country for the second time, Keys told entertainment columnist Ricky Lo in a phone interview last week that she has been looking forward to performing before her Filipino fans again.

“They had so much energy during the concert. They were so excited despite what had just happened. I was glad that we could inspire each other, that’s why I’m looking forward to going back there,” she said, recalling her experience the first time she came over.

Holding her concert amid the country’s efforts to rise above a recent calamity, Keys said she is hoping “to bring hope for the Filipino people.”

“Music has a way of lifting your spirit and that’s what I hope to do for the Filipino people,” she said.

Keys is the voice behind the hits “Karma,” “Fallin,’” “Unbreakable,” “If I Ain’t Got You,” No One,” Empire State of Mind” and “Girl on Fire.”
