MANILA -- South Korean pop group Super Junior arrived in the Philippines on Thursday morning for its highly anticipated one-night concert here.
The 12-member boy group arrived around 11:00 a.m. at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, only hours before its show at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
As early as Thursday noon, Filipino fans already trooped to the venue to welcome Super Junior. ABS-CBN News' Gretchen Fullido, on her Instagram page, shared a photo of fans eagerly waiting for their idols.
The concert is part of Super Junior's world-wide concert series, "Super Show 5," which kicked off in March this year with legs in South America, Europe and Asia.
The tour's Manila stop marks the third time Super Junior has visited the Philippines, following their successful concerts here in 2010 and 2011.
Super Junior is expected perform its international hits, including "Mr. Simple," "Bonamana," and "Sorry, Sorry." The members, as in previous shows, are also expected to offer individual numbers at the concert.
