Actress Anne Curtis
MANILA -- Actress Anne Curtis is following in the footsteps of her boyfriend Erwan Heussaff as she also started venturing into the restaurant business.
In an interview on "Kris TV" which aired on Wednesday, Curtis revealed that she is one of the partners in Banzai, the 1,300-square-meter themed buffet restaurant at the SM by the Bay in the Mall of Asia complex that offers a wide array of Japanese favorites as well as bits of culinary entertainment.
"It's all teppanyaki, we should go there," Curtis told host Kris Aquino.
Apart from Banzai, Curtis will also be a partner in two new restaurants, Sprout and Sabaw, which have yet to open.
"Sprout is all healthy food and Sabaw all soups, all healthy food," explained Curtis, adding that they are hoping to open next month.
Meanwhile, Curtis also took the opportunity to promote her upcoming film "Blood Ransom" with Hollywood actor Alexander Dreymon. "Blood Ransom" opens in theaters nationwide on October 29.
