In 2008, Weigmann joined the teen edition of “PBB,” which actor Ejay Falcon won. After her stint in the show, she went on to star in TV commercials, co-host noontime shows and appear on magazines.

When asked if she learned any lessons from the reality show that proved useful in a beauty pageant, she said: “Just be yourself because I’ve experienced it already, that sometimes you shouldn’t overthink. Basta ‘pag ikaw ‘yun, pakita mo lang.”
Last year proved to be a successful one for the Philippines when it came to beauty pageants. Aside from the country’s first ever Miss World title via Young, other beauty titlists last year include Bea Rose Santiago (Miss International) and Mutya Datul (Miss Supranational).
The Philippines has been in the Miss Universe Top 5 since 2010.
