MANILA, Philippines - A heartbroken call center agent was arrested by police authorities over the weekend for uploading a sex video of himself and his ex-girlfriend on social networking site Facebook.
Edwadson Base, 26, was brought to the Manila Police District (MPD) for violating Republic Act 9995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.
The law was passed following the sex video scandal involving Hayden Kho and some female celebrities.

"Nag-upload daw siya ng illicit video nila noong may relasyon pa silang dalawa," Chief Inspector Marcelo Reyes, Chief of the MPD General Assignment Section, told ABS-CBN News.
Base posted the video on his ex-girlfriend's Facebook page after learning that the latter dumped him for someone else.
He said he did it out of revenge against his girlfriend of 4 years.
"I was fooled and blinded by love," he said.
The 20-year-old victim, meanwhile, refused to comment about the issue, saying that she'll just let justice take its course. --- Report from Alex Santos, ABS-CBN News
