MANILA - Are you wondering why "TV Patrol" reporter Doris Bigornia became a trending topic on micro-blogging site Twitter on Monday?

Bigornia took to Tayuman in Manila to do a live survey on reactions to the national address of President Aquino about the controversial Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP), which aired only minutes earlier.

The veteran reporter, who is dubbed local news' "Mutya ng Masa," interviewed several residents who were apparently in the middle of a round of bingo.

Most of the interviewees, who described themselves as "mahihirap" (poor), admitted that they did not understand what Aquino said in his speech.

One woman used an expression popularized by "It's Showtime" co-host and comedian Vice Ganda, which also became a trending topic on Twitter shortly after the live segment aired.

"Sa totoo lang po, wala po akong naintindihan sa mga sinabi niya, kung ano po 'yung tungkol sa DAP. Wala po kaming maintindihan! Boom panes!" she said.

Another man used the same expression, but for a different sentiment. "Ang reaksyon ko po -- ang DAP, sila lang po ang nakikinabang. 'Yun lang po ang masasabi ko. Boom panes!" he said.

Here are some of the reactions to the live interview on "TV Patrol":
