"I am a happy person, simula noong maliit pa ako. Gusto ko good vibes lang," he added.
Lumbatan said he wanted to add to the festive mood at the Malacanang Palace but clarified that he was well-behaved for the rest of the ceremonies.
He added he just wanted to express his joy for being one of the chosen few to witness Duterte's historic oath-taking. Only over 600 guests were invited to the event.
"Sa lahat ng problema ng bansa natin, dapat magbigay ng panahon
para sumaya at ngumiti. Good vibes tayo," he said.
The Davao-based lawyer has been working with Duterte's sons, Vice Mayor Paolo and Sebastian, for nine years now. He said he also feels blessed to be a friend of the Duterte family.
"I feel privileged to be one of the lawyers of the family, having been enjoying their trust and confidence," he added.
He said he actively campaigned for Duterte and feels accomplished that his bet won the presidency.
"I saw how people wanted him to be president. I'm looking forward to working with the government," he added.
