MANILA – Two of Makati Shangri-La’s food and beverage establishments are set to close by the end of July.
Reto Klauser, area general manager of Makati Shangri-La, said the two F&B outlets will be replaced by a new restaurant concept which will occupy two floors of the luxury hotel.
“After unforgettable years of hosting feasts and festivities, the iconic Conway’s and Red will fold to make way for another exciting restaurant concept,” Klauser said in a text message sent to ABS-CBNnews.com.
“While an old adage states that all good things must come to an end, we daresay that the end is only the beginning of something even more massive and momentous that will easily become the place to be,” he added.
The areas occupied by Conway’s and Red will be closed for renovation by August, with the new restaurant scheduled to be opened by the end of the year.
A series of parties will be held at Conway’s starting this Friday, June 28, to mark the exit of the two establishments.
Meanwhile, a new events place is set to be launched at the Makati Shangri-La by October, replacing the Quezon Ballroom.
