MANILA -- CNN on Wednesday released more footage from the Philippine episode of Anthony Bourdain's "Parts Unknown," which airs on April 24.
The episode, which shows Bourdain trying Filipino dishes such as sizzling pork sisig, adobo and kare-kare will serve as the premiere episode for the seventh season of the award-winning CNN program.
But it seems Bourdain didn't just check out the food scene during his visit as he also explored other aspects of Filipino culture like music and cooking.

For instance, Bourdain watched a performance of the rock band Keystone at Handlebar in Makati. Drummer Mark Esguerra even showed him how to cook adobo.
This is not the first time Bourdain will showcase the Philippines in one his shows. He last visited the country in 2008 for Travel Channel's "No Reservations." During that trip, he made stops in Manila, Pampanga and Cebu.
The new season of "Parts Unknown" also feature Bourdain's trips to the Greece, Chicago, Montana, Georgia, Cologne, Buenos Aires and Senegal.
