MANILA – It all started with a lady who didn’t want her last name to give her an unsavory reputation.
A little past midnight on February 24, FEU Secret Files, a page dedicated to the confessions of Far Eastern University students, posted the rant of an FEU student whose last names sounds like “beach.”
In her post, the student said, “Ang saklap lang na ginagawa nilang nickname ko ung surname ko. Kayo kaya tawagin sa surname? Okay sana kung maganda ang surname ko eh, kaso, ‘beech?’”
“Wag na lng pls? Napagkakamalan tuloy akong literal na b*tch ng ibang nakakarinig,” the student went on.
The simple rant post, however, took a different turn when netizens commented and made fun of their own surnames as well.
A commenter whose last name was Salamat wrote, ''Ano pa ko?! You’re welcome!'' Yves Tumulak wrote, ''Pag may nadadapa akin ang sisi. Pag may nahuling adik akin pa rin.''
Christian Awatin commented, “Lagi ako ang tinatawag pag may nag-aaway.”
As of this posting, the post has more than 8,000 likes and more than 1,600 shares.
