MANILA – Here’s a new mall you can visit this Valentine’s Day.

Megaworld recently opened the Venice Grand Canal Mall, which it describes as the “most romantic” mall in the country.

Taking inspiration from Venetian architecture and landmarks, the Venice Grand Canal Mall features a “grand canal” where visitors can experience an open air gondola ride accompanied by a costumed and singing gondolier.

While aboard, they can enjoy a view of the surrounding palazzi in dainty shades. The gondola ride is open every weekend for P500 per head.

Aside from gondola rides, the Venice Grand Canal Mall also boasts of unique shopping options, yellow street lights and candle-lit al fresco restaurants at night.

The mall is connected to another shopping destination, the Venice Piazza.
