The Philippines lost a genius this week with the passing of National Artist for Architecture Francisco 'Bobby' Mañosa.

Anyone who has seen Mañosa's works can't help but be amazed by his creativity and brilliance, especially in his use of indigenous materials.

Here are just a few of the architectural marvels he created in the metropolis.

Mañosa was laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on Sunday after a state necrological ceremony at the Cultural Center of the Philipines.
