Navigation app Waze released the days and times with the worst traffic based on data for the past year, and they're all during the Christmas season.

Based on data collected over the past year, Waze said it is best to avoid the roads from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., starting December 22 until January 1.

Traffic is also expected to be heavy from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on January 2.

Traffic in some of the country's big cities are also expected to be heavier, from 1.2 times to as high as 2.7 times, during the Christmas holidays.

For those who still want to brave the heavy traffic, Waze has a planned drive function, which offers drivers an estimated time of departure and arrival.
