MANILA -- Young people have always been told to dream big and reach for their dreams, but how can they do that if they don't even have dreams to begin with?

A recent study done among Filipino youth showed 7 out of 10 teenagers don't have a dream.

The study covered 614 Filipino teenagers from different socioeconomic classes across the country. They were asked to answer the question "Do you have a dream in life?"

Their answers showed that not having a dream is not directly connected to one's socioeconomic class. The most common reasons for not having a dream is lack of passion, lack of self-esteem, discouraging words from others, lack of opportunity, and lastly, poverty.

To help teens have dreams and chase after these dreams, Viviamo Inc., the company behind Belle de Jour Power Planner, came up with a list of inspiring women.

Viviamo interviewed women from various fields to talk about their dreams, and to inspire the younger generation to have their own dreams.

The videos will be released this month on Belle de Jour Power Planner's official Facebook page as part of its "The Magic of Dreams" campaign.
