MANILA – Online marketplace Carousell has launched #PrelovedWithLove, a charitable movement in collaboration with the non-profit organization Hands On Manila and local celebrities and bloggers.
Under the campaign, personalities such as Laureen Uy, Martine Cajucom, and Angel Dei Peralta put together a box of items that they can no longer use, with their personal stories attached.
These boxes will be sold on Carousell from December 6 to 10, with all proceeds going to the Hands On Manila public school program.
“I’m proud to be part of this meaningful campaign as many of us have underutilized items in our house that can benefit and be of value to someone else,” said Uy, who will sell her “pre-loved” fashion and beauty items.
Carousell users can also be part of the movement by listing their own box or item at P0.00 with the hashtag #PrelovedWithLove until Christmas, effectively passing it on to someone who may benefit from it.
The donations will be featured in a “special collection” to be launched on December 11 to facilitate exchanges for those in need.
