Kapeng Mainit

Kapeng Mainit reopens at its new location at 3 Pablo Roman St. in BF Homes Paranaque. Now located at his commissary, owner Bryan Francisco said he needed to consolidate locations and the bigger kitchen will enable him to create new dishes and experiment.

Besides Kapeng Mainit’s trademark beignets and biscuits, new dishes like his Tortang Lasagna (lasagna made out of eggplant instead of pasta) and Adobong Fried Chicken with Corn are now on the menu.

One of the interesting dishes in development is his version of the Mojama, Spanish salt-cured tuna that has the feel of prosciutto.

Also new are Kapeng Mainit’s unique takeout offerings ideal for Christmas parties. Try the Red Wine Cheesecake, the Jalapeno Cheesecake and the Timpani, a six-pound cake of pasta in red sauce. Two-days advance notice are recommended for these items. Please call Kapeng Mainit at 0917-557-3375 for orders.
