MANILA – The rehabilitated Jones Bridge served as the backdrop for a recent prenup shoot, captivating many Filipinos who initially thought that the photos were taken in Europe.
The couple can be seen strolling along a bridge adorned with ornate lamp posts.
“A bridge in Paris? Almost! Featuring the historical Jones bridge, a glimpse from Meyrick and Bernadine’s pre-wedding session!” Peach Frost Studio said in a Facebook post.
The photos also got a stamp of approval from Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, who thanked the couple and the photographer for appreciating their efforts to give the Jones Bridge a makeover.
Moreno re-posted the shots on his official Facebook page, saying: “Ang ganda po ng prenup!”
In a previous interview, Moreno said that they hired Jerry Acuzar, the architect behind the historical resort Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, as consultant for the Jones Bridge rehabilitation project.
