MANILA -- Binibining Pilipinas on Monday gave a glimpse of the national costume of Bea Patricia "Patch" Magtanong, the country's representative to this year's Miss International pageant.
But instead of providing a description for Magtanong's intricately designed outfit, the social media manager opted to keep the ball rolling, asking fans and "costume experts" what they see.
"Okay costume experts, let's hear your take on this Filipiniana wonder," read a post on the Bb. Pilipinas Facebook page.
Many of them think Magtanong wore a "warrior princess" costume, while others noted the Japanese elements in the beauty queen's overall look.
A Japan-based pageant, the Miss International competition is usually held in Tokyo at the end of each year.
Magtanong is aiming for the Philippines' seventh Miss International title, with the coronation night set to be held on November 12.
Her predecessor, Ahtisa Manalo, finished first runner-up to Venezuela's Mariem Velazco last year.
