MANILA – Whether you’re a stamp enthusiast or not, you will find something to enjoy in the upcoming ASEAN Invitational Philatelic Exhibit (ASEANPEx) 2017.

A 200-frame display of rare and winning stamp collections from ASEAN countries will be showcased in the exhibit, which will run from November 4 to 6 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

It will have the theme “Exploring the beauty and diversity of ASEAN culture and tradition,” and will be attended by ambassadors from member countries, heads from various government sectors, celebrities, and other enthusiasts.

“As host country, we believe that this is also a great opportunity for us to showcase the world-class tourist destinations in the country, the unique Philippine biodiversity and, of course, our colorful culture and history,” Luis Carlos, Philippine Postal Corporation assistant postmaster general for marketing and management support services, said in a statement.

Aside from rare collections of stamps on display, the ASEANPEx will also have lectures on philately, a cosplay contest, as well as interactive booths.

The Philippines last hosted the ASEANPEx in 1996.
