MANILA - Here are some of the events, shows, and activities you can check out this weekend.
1. The Good Son at Araneta
When: September 24, 4 p.m.
Where: Farmers Plaza
Before its premiere on Monday, the cast of "The Good Son" is coming to Cubao to meet their fans.
The event will feature Joshua Garcia, McCoy de Leon, Jerome Ponce, Nash Aguas, Alexa Ilacad, and Elisse Joson.
"The Good Son" is set to replace "A Love To Last" on ABS-CBN's primetime block.
2. Nam Joo Hyuk in Manila
When: September 23, 6 p.m.
Where: KIA Theater
"Weightlifting Fairy" actor Nam Joo Hyuk is coming to Manila this weekend to meet his Pinoy fans.

3. Philippine Harvest meets Bon Appetit
When: September 22 to 24
Where: Central Square, BGC
The Philippine Harvest is organized by the Department of Agriculture, in partnership with the SSI Group, Inc., to promote locally grown farm and fishery products in the domestic market.
This year, the French embassy is joining the celebration. Alongside more than 30 local producers, 9 French exhibitors will offer a selection of French produce: Le Cellier (wines), Paris Délice (pastries, salads and pastas), Gerald.ph (cheeses and charcuterie), The Fruit Garden (fruit jams), Future Trade (wine), Chef Selection, Inc (cheeses and charcuterie), Pamora Farms (free-range chicken), Wine in Tube by Chef Patrice (wines), and Savoroso (beverages).
French chefs will also be invited to share their knowledge in food preparation to provide ideas for home-cooked French meals.
4. Si Janus Silang at Ang Labanang Manananggal-Mambabarang
When: September 20 to October 21
Where: Ateneo de Manila's Black Box Theater
Tanghalang Ateneo, the longest-running theater company of the Loyola Schools of the Ateneo de Manila University, opens its 39th season with Guelan Varela-Luarca’s adaptation of Edgar Calabia Samar's award-winning "Si Janus Silang at ang Labanang Manananggal-Mambabarang."
The Janus Silang series is critically acclaimed with the first book, "Si Janus Silang at ang Tiyanak ng Tábon," winning the 2016 National Book Awards' Juan C. Laya Prize for Best Novel in a Philippine Language and the 2016 National Children's Book Award for Best Read for Kids.
The second book, "Si Janus Silang at ang Labanang Manananggal-Mambabarang," also won the 2017 National Book Awards' Best Novel in Filipino early this year.

5. Proclamation of 8
When: September 23
Where: District Gallery, QC
Eight artists will converge to declare the country's "current and varied states of unrest" through the exhibit "Proclamation of 8."
This includes Andrei Venal, Christina Lopez, Jaime Pacena, Mervy Pueblo, Miko Aguilar, Ninotchka Rosca, Ralph Eya, and Sidney Valdez.

6. Gaga: Five Foot Two
When: September 22
The Netflix original documentary "Gaga: Five Foot Two" is finally premiering this Friday.
Directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Chris Moukarbel (Banksy Does New York, Me at the Zoo), the film is shot in the style of cinema verité, giving viewers behind-the-scenes access as Gaga spends time with close friends and family members, records and releases her 2016 album Joanne, and deals with personal struggles.
7. Kalibrr job festival
When: September 23 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Where: BGC High Street Central
Organized by recruitment technology maverick Kalibrr Technology Ventures, the Kalibrrate Job Festival is open to job seekers from across the country.

9. Intramuros Open House
When: September 23 to 24

10. Sing Us Your Song Again: The Music and Legacy of Eddie Mesa
Eddie Mesa, dubbed the "Elvis Presley of the Philippines," will stage his first full concert after more than 28 years on September 23 at the Meralco Theatre.
Joining him in the show are Pilita Corrales, Christopher de Leon, Edgar Mortiz, Tirso Cruz III, Ramon "RJ" Jacinto, Ciara Sotto, the Hotlets, and actors of the Eigenmann clan: Michael de Mesa, Ryan, Geoff, Max, Gabby, Andi, Sid Lucero, and Cherie Gil.
