MANILA – Christine Allado is on a roll.
Aside from being part of the 2020 West End adaptation of “The Prince of Egypt,” the Filipina singer is set to star in the UK premiere of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella.”
She will take on the lead role of Ella in the semi-staged show at Cadogan Hall on October 20, according to WhatsOnStage.
Joining her in the cast are Cedric Neal, Jac Yarrow, Jodie Jacobs, Dean John-Wilson, Dianne Pilkington, and Zoe Rainey.
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” has been described by WhatsOnStage as “a Tony Award-winning musical that presents a contemporary take on the classic fairy tale.”
It was originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews.
