In an Instagram post on Monday, Alonzo said learning how to bake has always been in her bucket list.
“I never really got my head around pursuing it,” she said, citing that she is “intimated that in order to be good at it, one must be precise and dedicated.”
“But this year, I promised myself that I will do things that intimidate or scare me,” she continued. “I promised myself that I will learn new things and try to go out of my comfort zone.”
Looking back, Alonzo said she “had the best time of my life.”
“I felt like a kid again learning a new skill,” she said. “It made me feel good that I was enriching myself with new knowledge and also gaining new friends in the process.”
“It is never too late to pursue new things. I am so glad I did it.”
