ATHENS - Singkil, pandanggo sa ilaw, maglalatik at maging modern dance-- ilan lang ito sa ibinida ng grupong Ledanz Dance Studio mula Dasmariñas, Cavite sa katatapos na 14th Anapale World Festival 2023 sa Athens, na pinangunahan ng International Dance Council (CID).

Sa saliw ng tugtog na “Kanta Pilipinas” binigyang-pugay ng Ledanz Dance Studio sa pamamagitan ng sayaw, ang pagiging matatag ng mga Pilipino sa kabila ng mga matitinding pagsubok na kinakaharap nila.
“Gusto naming i-share sa kanila na kahit maraming calamities, devastations that happened in the Philippines, we always rise up. That’s why divided, we fall but together we stand. Kaya ipinakita namin ang culture of the Philippines dahil the Filipinos are the happiest people and the warmest people in the world,” sabi ni Geraldine Martinez Espinosa, lider ng LeDanz Dance Studio.
“As we get here like we feel so nervous but now we feel so, like butterflies in our stomach,” sabi ni Georgina Espinosa. member, LeDanz Dance Studio.

Bukod sa Pilipinas, kinagiliwan din ng mga manonood ang mga iba’t-ibang uri ng sayaw mula Malaysia, Italya, Albania, India, United Kingdom at Gresya.
Proud na proud naman ang mga Pinoy sa naging performance ng Pinoy dance group.
“As we all know, dance transcends language and culture and after the event of the pandemic we are glad to be here together and to show to you what our culture is about,” sabi Consul Judy Barbara Robianes, Chargè D’Affaires a.i. PH Embassy, Athens.
At maging ang mga banyaga ay humanga rin sa kanila. “It was fascinating, it was many different kinds of dances, movements, it was really nice. You don’t know where to focus, there’s so much happening and I don’t wanna miss anything. It was really nice,” sabi ni Dimitra Dimotropoulou, Greek fan.

Ang CID ay isang non-government organization sa ilalim ng UNESCO na naglalayong mapaunlad ang lahat ng uri ng sayaw sa lahat ng bansa sa buong mundo. Itinatag noong 1973, mayroon na itong mahigit sampung libong miyembro mula sa 170 bansa kabilang ang Pilipinas.
