It was a night of decadence and delight as audiences attended last week’s illustrious Marry Me at Marriott bridal fashion show. From the grandiose façade of the Marriott Hotel grand ballroom, to each intricate designer piece, who wouldn’t help but fall in love?

As Marry Me at Marriott celebrated its fifth year, they showcased the stunning designs of Michael Leyva, Happy Andrada, Hannah Kong, and Avel Bacudio. The designers’ muses took to the runway like blogger and media personality, Janeena Chan, for Happy Andrada and 2016 Olympic Silver Medalist, Hidilyn Diaz, for Hannah Kong, just to name a few. Even some groomsmen walked down that aisle as well as we saw Sam Wilson and Alden Richards walk for Avel Bacudio. And who could forget Anne Curtis in that showstopping fiery red Michael Leyva number? We sure aren’t over it.

Although it’s been a hot minute since the show, we still can’t get over all of these looks. Going back, here are some of the trends that we’ve spotted:

1. Play With Color

Go ahead and revel in color! How about some muted pastels or a soft nude? Or even a fiery bold statement hue. White bridal gowns may still be the classic, but colored gowns are quickly becoming a bridal statement.

2. Nude Illusions

A bit risqué for your wedding day, you say? We think not. Especially when it’s partnered up with such gorgeous detailing, nothing screams confidence like a bit of skin under lace and tulle.

3. Floral Appliques

Soft, delicate touches for all different types of silhouettes. A touch of petals could do wonders in dressing up the most basic cuts.

4. Bridal Blazers

For the woman who loves to power-dress, blazers are definitely a bold statement piece. Not to mention it’s a clever way to keep yourself warm throughout the reception.

5. Statement Headpieces

Don’t forget to accessorize. From bows to tiaras, or how about trying new wedding veil styles? It’s your big day, so being lavish from head-to-toe is often necessary.

6. Bridal Trousers

Who says only the men can wear pants? Keep it feminine but in charge and don those trousers; not only would you look daring, but you could move better for the dance-floor, too.

7. Sheer Capes

You will certainly feel like a princess walking down the aisle with a fabulous tulle cape, catching the wind behind you, or an embroidered pearl wrap doubling as a neckpiece. Imagine these billowing as you walk down the aisle, guaranteed to give that ethereal glide.
