MANILA – Even “Asia’s Next Top Model” winner Maureen Wroblewitz used to wear outfits that make her feel embarrassed until today.
In an interview with Preen, the Filipino-German model admitted that she had “the worst sense of style” when she was younger.
“When I was younger, I had the worst sense of style. I would wear black jeans and then a brown tank top. I remember this outfit so well,” she said.
“I myself didn’t like it. I was just afraid to buy the things I love. I couldn’t make my own decisions before. Eventually, I learned to try and not be afraid.”
Today, Wroblewitz is mostly into laid-back styles – such as high-waisted jeans and a cropped top – but she occasionally tries new trends.
She considers black as her “power color.”
When asked about the celebrity she wants to exchange closets with, Wroblewitz replied: “Kendall Jenner. I love her style, it can be super different. It can go from classy to edgy.”
Wroblewitz is the first Filipina to win “Asia’s Next Top Model.”
