MANILA -- Lenovo has released a new lineup of business laptops in the Philippines, targeting companies who wish to provide a better work-from-home setup for their employees.

In a statement, Lenovo Philippines president and general manager Michael Ngan said the new computers are equipped with AMD Ryzen processors.

Designed for computational heavy lifting, the AMD Ryzen processors are said to be ideal for carrying out multiple tasks such as general office applications and video conferencing.

"Since the previous launch, the AMD Ryzen lineup has garnered nothing but praise from the tech industry for its efficient and fast processing speed even when used simultaneously for several intensive tasks," Ngan said.

"With work-from-home becoming the new normal work arrangement, we decided to integrate these powerful processors in our business solution portfolio to further empower the remote workforce since they can significantly elevate the capabilities of our business laptops under different business environments," he added.

The new lineup includes the ThinkPad T14 and ThinkPad X13, with the former intended for multi-tasking professionals and the latter for those who prefer something more lightweight and portable.

Both come with integrated AMD Radeon Graphics and up to Windows 10 Pro OS, as well as a ThinkShield suite for comprehensive security.

The two laptops are available at authorized Lenovo retail partners and their respective online stores, with prices depending on the configuration chosen by the buyer.
