MANILA -- Celebrity couple Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey are set to talk about sustainable living this Wednesday as they host a "fundraising hour" for World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines.
Wurtzbach and Jauncey took to Instagram to invite the public to join them in their discussion, which will be held at 8 p.m. on the WWF-Philippines Facebook page.
"When Jeremy and I did a trip to Bawah Reserve earlier this year, one of the things I learned from him is the importance of sustainability in tourism. And how our efforts, even at home, can impact the environment," Wurtzbach said, recalling their trip to Indonesia.
"I became more interested in this field and how I can live a greener lifestyle. I've been learning so much and I'm so excited to learn more and share these lessons with you guys," the former Miss Universe added.

For his part, Jauncey said: "Pia and I have always spoken about our love for travel and the plans we have for exploring more of the world together. But recognizing the environmental impact it can have, we decided to raise awareness of sustainable travel so that hopefully, more people can understand its importance. When travel does come back, there are many things that you can do to be mindful of your environmental impact."
Wurtzbach and Jauncey are both environmental advocates -- he is an ambassador of WWF in the United States, while she was tapped by WWF-Philippines for three campaigns this year.
The two are also known for their love for travel. Before the lockdown, Wurtzbach has been exploring different parts of the world for her show, "Pia's Postcards," while Jauncey is the founder and CEO of the creative agency Beautiful Destinations.
