MANILA – Recording artist Claudia Barretto shared some details about her upcoming 18th birthday party, saying that she has chosen Mark Bumgarner as her gown designer.
In an interview with the entertainment website Push, Barretto said she is excited to work with Bumgarner, a race car driver turned designer who has created gowns for top local celebrities such as Anne Curtis, Heart Evangelista, and Jodi Sta. Maria.
“It’s my first time to work with him so I’m really excited to see how it comes out because his ideas are actually really nice. I’m actually excited for it,” she said.
Barretto will turn 18 on July 26, but her debut party will be held on August 5 at Whitespace Manila in Makati.
The up and coming singer said she has not picked a particular theme, describing her celebration as “a very elegant night with my closest friends and family.”
Barretto’s older sister, actress Julia Barretto, had a grand 18th birthday party in 2015 at the Makati Shangri-La ballroom.
The Kapamilya star wore a red gown by Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco.
