MANILA – Billy Crawford is the latest celebrity to join the star-studded business venture District 8 Manila, whose investors also include Daniel Padilla, Vice Ganda and James Yap, among others.
Crawford was officially welcomed as a partner through a post on District 8 Manila’s Instagram page. The gastropub is set to open in Greenhills on August 8.
Aside from the four, the other partners in the restaurant include basketball players Paul Artadi and Marc Pingris and former San Juan vice mayor Francis Zamora
In an interview with entertainment site Push, Zamora shared that Padilla has been very hands-on in the conceptualization of their new business.
“He would take time out from his very busy schedule to attend meetings and give his input. I know he’s very excited as this will be a major business venture,” he said.
Asked what foodies can expect from District 8 Manila, Zamora said: “Expect to enjoy a fusion of international flavors and wide array of drinks while enjoying music by superstar DJ Ace Ramos. Expect different theme nights as we go along for a different feel every now and then.”
Zamora said they envisioned District 8 Manila to be the “melting pot of celebrities, athletes, and personalities.”
