MANILA -- The robotics talent of young Filipinos will be on display as the country hosts the 20th International Robot Olympiad in December.
Hundreds of young robotics enthusiasts across the world will compete for the championship.
Anthony Gabitan, the president of the Philippine Robotics team, is optimistic the local team can make a name for itself despite limitations.
"Filipinos always have this skill called abilidad which make it work for them. Even if we are behind in technology, resources, they are able to do it because of their Filipino ingenuity," he told ANC.
The 20th International Robot Olympiad will be held December 15 to 18 in De La Salle Santiago Zobel School in Muntinlupa City.
