MANILA -- The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) is streaming its original musical, "A Game of Trolls," this Independence Day.
In a Facebook post on Friday, PETA encouraged the public to "defend our freedom, sovereignty, and rights" as it opposed the controversial anti-terror bill.
"This Independence Day, let's remember what the heroes of our past stood for -- and what we, as modern heroes, can do to continue their legacy," it said, adding that "A Game of Trolls" will be streamed at 7 p.m. on June 12 on the PETA YouTube page.

Aside from the streaming of "A Game of Trolls," PETA also prepared Independence Day activities such as a writing workshop via Facebook Live at 3 p.m.
Last month, the theater group launched online classes to help families during the quarantine.
