MANILA - Former "The Voice of the Philippines" contestants Jep Go and Tim Pavino will be part of Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group's upcoming production of "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical."
Go and Pavino, along with Arman Ferrer and Markus Mann, will play the members of the iconic quartet The Drifters.
Ferrer, a featured soloist of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and ABS-CBN’s Philharmonic Orchestra, has played Jake in "Side Show" and Emilio Aguinaldo in Nicanor Tiongson's "Mabining Mandirigma."
Mann, on the other hand, is a Florida-based actor who will be making his debut with Atlantis Theatrical with "Beautiful."
Both Go and Pavino competed in "The Voice of the Philippines," and were both part of Lea Salonga's team.
Go was part of "Eto Na! Musikal nAPO," while Pavino played the role of Emilio Aguinaldo in Repertory Philippines' "Miong."
"Beautiful" chronicles Carole King's journey from a young songwriter to rock and roll legend. It will feature hits like "You've Got A Friend," "One Fine Day" and "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman."
Directed by Bobby Garcia, and presented by Atlantis and ABS-CBN, "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" will run at the Meralco Theater in Pasig City from June 14 to July 7.
