MANILA -- Local food and lifestyle app Booky has launched a campaign that aims to help businesses that have been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through a page called #SupportPH, Booky is encouraging Filipinos to help these businesses by purchasing digital vouchers, which follow a "help now, enjoy later" format.

Handout

Proceeds will go directly to the establishments, and the customer can redeem or claim their voucher up to three months after the establishment opens.

Vouchers for up to 50% in discounts can be availed under the campaign, according to a statement.

Citing a survey it recently conducted among local businesses in the food and lifestyle industries, Booky said many of them have reported zero revenue since the start of the lockdown, with the rest reporting a decline in earnings.
