1. Robinsons Land Corporation helps preserve Palawan's beauty 


Robinsons Land Corporation has donated a total of 26 trash bins to Puerto Princesa International Airport.

This is in line with the company's vision to maintain the cleanliness of the airport, which is the gateway to Palawan's key attractions, such as El Nido and Puerto Princesa’s Underground River.

For this year, an estimated 1.2 to 1.3 million tourists are expected to visit Palawan via the airport.

Marco Polo Hotels will be offering its new vacation promo starting next month.

The "Hello Summer" package features a guaranteed upgrade to the next room category, complimentary daily buffet breakfast for two staying guests and a leisurely check out at 4 p.m. when staying two nights or more, plus amenities by Piccolo Kids when travelling with the family.

3. ZEN Rooms now offer COD


ZEN Rooms breaks tradition by offering COD (cash on delivery) to hotel bookings, making it the first budget hotel franchise in Southeast Asia to allow 100% card-free bookings. 

The only thing required to confirm a booking on is a valid phone number. The feature is currently available for over 500 ZEN Rooms locations and is being rolled out to 1,000 ZEN locations in the next three months. 

4. What to see in Ethiopia? 

Ethiopia, which has been consistently landing the list of the top world destinations, remains undiscovered by many Pinoys. This, despite the fact that Ethiopian Airlines is now available in the Philippines with flights from Manila to Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, three times weekly.

Apart from its beautiful landscapes, Ethiopia is also home to UNESCO World Heritage sites. The rock-hewn churches of Lalibela is considered to be the "New Jerusalem," making it a hot spot for pilgrimage and devotion.
