LOOK: Hollywood-approved Pinoy art in LA exhibit

MANILA – Brad Pitt and Lady Gaga are among the supporters of the Filipinos artists and designers featured in an exhibit in Los Angeles.

Pulo Project, described on its website as “a series of installations and experiences dedicated to the art and culture of the Philippines,” is taking over the Please Do Not Enter exhibition spaces in Downtown LA until August.
 
Among the works showcased here are those by Leeroy New, who has designed wearable art for Lady Gaga; Neil Felipp, whose Suzy Wong minaudiere was featured in “Crazy Rich Asians”; and Kenneth Cobonpue, whose clients include then-couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Also part of the exhibit are proudly Filipino artists and brands such as Zacarias 1925, Susanne Verallo, and Ken Samudio.
