MANILA - A newly opened private resort in Palawan may well be the most expensive resort in the world, with a nightly rate of $100,000 (approximately P5,200,000).
According to a report on The Independent, Banwa Private Island, located in Palawan, offers its guests a private resort experience with world-class amenities and services.
In its official website, Banwa Private Island is described as a "truly private island" which promises a "beautifully personalised experience."
The resort can accomodate up to 48 guests in its villas and suites.
Banwa also boasts of locally sourced and freshly grown food prepared by its team of chefs.
Aside from soaking in the beautiful surroundings, guests can also take advantage of other amenities like the gym, massage suite, tennis court and jogging track, among others.
The island can only be reached via a private jet, helicopter or seaplane directly from Manila or from the local airports in Puerto Princesa or San Vicente.
