MANILA – Months after being spotted with local fashion figures, Christian Louboutin released a collection of bags inspired by Manila.
Dubbed “Manilacaba,” the bags feature textiles such as T’nalak and bear Filipino design elements such as the iconic jeepney and words like “Makati.”
Here’s a look at the Italian-made bags, which are currently sold out at the online shops of Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman:
A French designer known for his signature red soles, Louboutin visited Manila last November for the Philippine Tatler Ball.
He was spotted dancing with actress and painter Heart Evangelista during the event.
