MANILA — The Philippines' Megan Young was among several Miss World winners who came together in a virtual tribute to frontline workers amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The actress, who was crowned Miss World in 2013, shared the tribute video, dubbed "One World," through an Instagram post over the weekend.

The two-minute video shows Miss World titlists from 2011 to 2019 each holding up handwritten signs that form a message of gratitude to frontliners.

"Hello, we all got together to thank all our frontliners during this pandemic. From all the corners of the world, for them, for you, for us, stay safe, stay home. Love, Miss World," the message read.

The message came as the global coronavirus crisis nears 3 million cases, including over 200,000 deaths, with many countries enforcing wide lockdowns.

"Let us celebrate the powers of our heroes who rise with strength and pride," Young wrote. "Salamat po sa ating mga frontliners."
