1. Hyatt's Holy Week specials

Planning to have a staycation on Holy Week? The Café at Hyatt City of Dreams Manila is offering buffet rates on Good Friday dinner, and Black Saturday and Easter Sunday (lunch and dinner). Children may also join the traditional Easter egg hunt.

Meanwhile, for the whole month of April, Hyatt will be holding an Austrian wine promotion. Guests at The Cafe and The Lounge who purchase one bottle of Elfenhof Heurigen will get a bottle of Piccolo Elfenhof Blaufränkisch for free.

The Cafe will also have a special seafood promotion (in photo) on April 28 and 29. 

2. Weekends at Edsa Shangri-La, Manila

Craving for lobster and Wagyu beef? Spend your weekend at Edsa Shangri-La, Manila’s interactive dining restaurant Heat, which is offering a weekend trio, featuring Mad for Lobster Fridays, Mad for Wagyu Saturdays and the all-new Sunday Mercato. Price per person is at P2,615 nett.

3. New dishes at Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings is extending its menu beyond chicken wings to cater to various cravings. 

The restaurant now serves burgers (Mozzarella Burger, Smokehouse Burger, Buffalo Bleu Burger), double-thick herbed chops, and roasted and fried chicken. 

These new dishes are new additions joining all-time favorites like the All-Star (traditional wings, honey BBQ ribs,and teriyaki pork belly), Three Point (traditional wings, honey BBQ ribs, and fried porkchop) and Most Valuable (traditional wings, honey BBQ ribs, and grilled pork belly). 

Buffalo Wild Wings has branches at Estancia Mall at Capital Commons, Glorietta 2, Uptown Mall BGC, S Maison at Conrad Hotel Manila and Vista Mall Sta. Rosa, Laguna. 

4. Mama Sita's at Madrid Fusion Manila

Kusina ni Mama Sita is bringing its buttery Goto Arroz Caldo recipe to Madrid Fusion Manila, which runs from April 6-8. 

This hot ginger rice porridge with ox tripe is an heirloom recipe of Teresita “Mama Sita” Reyes. It will be served with a selection of tasty toppings: fried pork chitterlings, carabao cracklings, butcheron, chicharong bulaklak, fish skin cracklings, crispy dilis and kropek.

With the theme "Towards a Sustainable Gastronomy," this year's Madrid Fusion aims to encourage the food industry to use earth-friendly food sources and reduce food waste. 

5. Jose Cuervo’s Shot at Paradise

Want to go to Boracay this summer? Jose Cuervo is giving away a trip for two to Boracay for the Carnival 2017. 

From March 15 to May 15, Jose Cuervo in partnership with S&R Membership Shopping is offering an exclusive raffle for every purchase of one Jose Cuervo Especial Reposado, Jose Cuervo Especial Silver, or Jose Cuervo Black. Raffle entrants will get a chance of winning a three-day/two-night stay for two adults in Boracay on June 16-18 for the Jose Cuervo Carnival.
After making their purchase, customers must visit to register and complete their raffle entry. Winners will be drawn on May 17 at the BDC Pinpoint Direct Marketing office in Greenhills, San Juan.

6. Potato Safari goes to Pampanga

Potatoes USA, the marketing arm of US potato growers, has partnered with 25 Seeds by Chef Sau del Rosario, Amare by Chef Chris Locher, Banh Mi by Chef Rex Soriano, and Denlim's Kitchen by Chef Den Lim to create special US potato menu items that will be offered to the public in their restaurants from April 1 to June 30. 

The Potato Safari is an annual campaign of Potatoes USA. It challenges local restaurants to create innovative recipes using US potatoes. These dishes will then be offered to the public for a limited time. 

Some of the dishes that are part of the promo are US potato pancit luglog in 25 Seeds, US potato congee in Denlim's Kitchen, US spudnuts in Banh Mi, and US potato cake in Amare by Chef Chris. 

7. Bevtools offers cocktail kits

Bevtools, a purveyor of fine beverage products, is bringing the cocktail mixing experience to the next level with its specialty cocktail kits for two well-loved drinks, the Old Fashioned and the Moscow Mule. 

The Old Fashioned cocktail kit includes Wild Turkey Bourbon 81, 
Angostura bitters, and two Kosa Rocks glasses, while the Moscow Mule cocktail kit comes with a bottle of Smirnoff, Bundaberg ginger beer, and two Copper Mule Mugs.

8. Jack ‘n Jill Calbee launches Honey Butter potato chips

Jack ‘n Jill Calbee's latest potato chip flavor is Honey Butter. A big hit in Japan and Korea, Honey Butter Potato Chips feature the sweetness of honey and creamy goodness of butter on thinly sliced, crunchy potatoes.
