MANILA -- Five-year-old celebrity Scarlet Snow Belo is doing her part in helping the country's frontliners against the novel coronavirus.
The daughter of doctor to the stars Vicki Belo and husband Hayden Kho was able to raise funds to buy boxes of masks for medical workers.
"Thank you to all who gave money during the first day of my fundraising," read the post on her 4.1-million strong Instagram account, which is handled by Belo and Kho. "Daddy has been sending them out hurriedly and making sure they get to the right people."
"Please continue to give so we can all help our courageous and hard-fighting frontliners. I will share pictures of the people who received our gifts when we get them. I love you!"
A previous post on Scarlet Snow's page led users to a bank account and a mobile number where people can send their donations for COVID-19 frontliners.
Scarlet Snow also sang at home to encourage people to share their blessings to her cause.
"I promise to show you where all the money is going. I will start the donation by giving all the money I got from my birthday," her post read.
Scarlet Snow's mother owns the homegrown beauty giant Belo Medical Group.
Last week, Belo said they are donating all their remaining protective equipment to frontliners in various hospitals and health centers.
Belo added that they will "continue to donate what is needed as our remaining shipments arrive," while assuring the public that their employees continue to receive full pay and benefits despite the work suspension.
