MANILA — As schools shut down for a month due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, parents are left feeling worried about how they can educate (let alone entertain) their children until things return to normal.

To help ease their worries a bit, here’s an offer they may want to check out — local app BuriBooks is offering its extensive library of Filipino children’s books for free for 30 days.

All one has to do is go through their three-step sign up process.

One will need to register a credit card to access majority of its content, but the app was keen to remind its users that one can cancel anytime without being charged anything.

BuriBooks’ library include books from publisher Adarna House, such as the prize-winning “Alamat ng Ampalaya” and “Ang Tuta ni Noe” from National Artist for Literature Virgilio Almario, as well as level one to level six reviewers and texbooks on the Filipino language.
