DIM SUM DELIGHTS AT CORNICHE
 
Get your chopsticks ready and savor an array of dim sum delights at Diamond Hotel’s Corniche restaurant on weekends. Rate is at P999 nett per person which also includes an appetizer or soup of the day, honey roasted barbecue pork, barbecued pork belly, and desserts. 

Corniche also has a “Flavors of China” themed buffet every Thursday night as well as new Chinese lauriat set menus. 

FREEBIES, UNLI OFFERS AT NUMBER 1 BARBECUES

Number 1 Barbecues is making sure that diners can enjoy great deals throughout 2019. Customers who celebrate their birthday at any branch can get a free cake when they dine in with any rice meal until December 31. To avail the promo, celebrants must present a valid document or ID with proof of their birth date to the dining personnel.

For the whole year, the SM Marikina branch of Number 1 Barbecues is offering free unlimited rice and soup for every dine-in order of a rice meal. The same promo is also available at the SM North Edsa and and SM East Ortigas branches, but only until March 31.

Meanwhile, diners at Number 1 Barbecues until March 31 can pair their favorite Lechon Belly or Pork BBQ with either Lechon Sisig, Chopsuey, or Palabok and enjoy unlimited rice and soup with iced tea. Another option is pairing the Smoked Pulled US Pork Sandwich or Smoked US Beef Sandwich with Baked Macaroni to get free fries and iced tea. 

Number 1 Barbecues has branches at SM East Ortigas, SM North Edsa, and SM Marikina.

FREE UNLI RICE AT MANG INASAL

Mang Inasal is giving unli-rice lovers a special treat as part of the brand’s 15th anniversary celebration. 

From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Thursday until March 28, customers can enjoy free unlimited rice servings on all Paborito Value Meals.

Meanwhile, Mang Inasal is also offering Bangus Sisig this Lenten season for P99.

MINDANAO HOSTS FIFTH BIG BITE FOOD FESTIVAL

The Big Bite Food Festival returns to Northern Mindanao this month for its fifth run. 

Set from March 14 to 17 at Centrio Ayala Mall, the event will feature massive-sized food items, culinary competitions, fresh food concepts, and all-time favorites from homegrown restaurants.

The first Big Bite Food Festival was held at Marquee Mall in Pampanga in 2014, with Centrio Ayala Mall following suit in the same year. 

MI-SO HAPPY SALAD AT SALADSTOP

SaladStop’s seasonal recipe gives a little East-meets-West action. 

Taking influence from Japanese fusion cuisine, Mi-So Happy combines smoked salmon, grilled tofu, edamame, pickled radish, and beetroot hummus on a bed of red and white cabbage and crisp romaine lettuce for a meat-free creation that promises to awaken the taste buds. A lemon miso dressing tops off the mix, which can be enjoyed as a bowl or as a wrap.

NESPRESSO INTRODUCES LIMITED EDITION COFFEES

Paying tribute to the historical roots of coffee houses, Nespresso introduces two new offerings – Café Istanbul and Caffe Venezia.

Café Istanbul is made of Arabian coffee from Yemen and carries black pepper spicy notes; while Caffe Venezia features beans from the ancient Ethiopian city of Harrar mixed with Indian Arabica, and has wild and floral notes.

Both coffees are available for a limited time at the Nespresso boutique at Power Plant Mall in Makati, through orders from the Nespresso Customer Care Hotline (477-7870), and on Nespresso’s website.

QUENCH YOUR THIRST WITH HONEY LEMON COCKTAILS

Here’s another way to enjoy Honey Lemon, the South Korean beverage that is now available here in the Philippines. 

Quench your thirst and keep your health in mind with these Honey Lemon cocktails, which can be easily made at home:

A. Ginger and Mint Honey Lemon
- Combine ginger syrup, mint leaves, and one can of Honey Lemon to fill a glass.

B. Earl Gray Honey Lemon Iced Tea
- Boil tea bags of Earl Gray and sugar for ten minutes.
- Combine Earl Gray reduction with one can of Honey Lemon to fill a glass.

C. Key Lime and Cucumber Honey Lemon
- Combine calamansi juice, slices of cucumber, and one can of Honey Lemon to fill a glass. 
- Shake and serve. 

D. Honey Lemon Mojito
- Combine quarters of a lime, mint leaves, white rum, and one can of Honey Lemon to fill a glass.
- Shake and serve.
