MANILA – If you still can’t get over the finale of “Crash Landing on You” (CLOY), you may want to check out one of the shooting locations of the hit Korean series.
A Filipina Facebook user recently shared photos of her visit to Taean, South Korea, the filming location of the village where lead character Captain Ri lives.
“This is the North Korean village where Lee Jeong Hyeok/Captain Ri and other cast live in the drama. But of course it is not located in North Korea, it is only a setup and they made this village just for this drama,” said the Facebook user, who uses the account name Mee in Korea.
She added that getting there would take around three hours by car from Seoul.
“Kung fan ka ng CLOY tulad ko at andito kayo sa Korea, worth it ang pagpunta sa lugar na ito kahit malayo dahil makikita mo talaga ang mismong lugar at mga gamit na ginamit nila sa drama,” she said.
Check out the photos and video posted in the Mee in Korea Facebook page which has since gone viral among Filipino fans:
CLOY aired its last episode on Sunday, setting ratings records in the South Korean channel tvN, according to Soompi.
Its story opens with a South Korean heiress being swept up by a tornado while paragliding, and crashing in the Demilitarized Zone.
There, she meets a North Korean soldier who protects her.
