MANILA – Everyone probably knows by now that Megan Young is married to Mikael Daez and that they had not one, but two wedding ceremonies.

The first one was an intimate event attended by only 10 people. This was followed by a bigger celebration, where Young wore two gowns created by her designer friends.

During the first wedding, the Miss World 2013 titleholder was photographed wearing a simple asymmetric puff sleeve dress which can be easily reworn to other occasions.

And early this week, it was revealed that this white dress costs less than P4,000. On Instagram, homegrown clothing brand Zoo Label pointed out that Young was wearing one of their creations.

“What a wonderful surprise, Megan wearing the Baja silk dress on her wedding day. Congratulations to the newlyweds,” Zoo Label said as it tagged the Instagram accounts of Young and Daez. “We’re such fans of your travel vlogs.”

A quick look at Zoo Label’s website shows that the white Baja silk dress worn by Young costs only P3,590.

It “features an asymmetric puffy sleeve with garter on cuff and a wrap-around tulip skirt with tie front detail in an effortlessly chic silky fabric.”

The dress also comes in other colors such as black, emerald, maroon, and light nude.

With this bit of detail now known, Young joins the likes of actress Rich Asuncion and singer Kitchie Nadal as among the Philippines’ practical celebrity brides.

Asuncion wore a P5,000 dress as she tied the knot in 2018, while Nadal opted for a P799 frock to her wedding back in 2015.
