The reign of Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2015, has opened many opportunities for her. After she relinquishes her crown on Monday, she wants to start ticking off some simple items on her to-do list.
"I guess I'd want to take a nap right after I pass the crown because the coronation is too early," Wurtzbach said.
"I might invite some family and friends to my room because it's been a while since I was able to spend time with them."
Wurtzbach also plans to sell her wardrobe via a garage sale to raise funds for indigent Filipinos in Cagayan de Oro.
Wurtzbach has said she isn't worried about her post-Miss Universe life after the Miss Universe Organization appointed her as its brand ambassador
"Miss Universe is taking care of me. They make sure that after I give the crown, I will still have work because they know how much of a workaholic I am," she said.
Paula Shugart, head of the Miss Universe Organization, said Wurtzbach has been instrumental in expanding the fan base of the pageant.
"Pia has so many fans . . . There are many plans for Pia in front of the camera and there's also an opportunity for her to go back to school," Shugart said.
Wurtzbach and Shugart declined to reveal more about future projects, as details still have to be ironed out.
"Pia will be around Miss Universe... She's gonna keep on working and will keep us busy," Shugart said.
